Onsonara is a four-person software studio based in Katowice, Poland. We make focused, local-first productivity tools for people who spend most of their day on a keyboard — writers, engineers, customer-support folks.
We started Onsonara in 2022 after years of building consumer software for other companies and watching the same pattern: products grow loud, ship more notifications, collect more data, and stop respecting the people using them. We wanted to try the opposite.
What we believe
A productivity tool that constantly interrupts you is part of the problem. Our products try to disappear when you don't need them.
Your data lives on your device. Sync is opt-in, end-to-end encrypted, and never includes keystroke content.
We are intentionally small. We don't take outside money, and we have no plans to grow into something we couldn't personally support.
If a product doesn't click with you within two weeks, we refund you and part on good terms. Always.
